Sehwag scored 122 against Chennai Super Kings in the second qualifier of 2014 IPL. It was the highest individual innings ever in IPL playoffs. On Friday, he smashed records in an unforgettable batting performance at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Apart from this, he has achieved many other achievements.
Gill hit a total of 10 sixes in this day’s innings. This is also a record. Before this, no one else has hit 10 sixes in an innings in the IPL playoffs. Gill’s Gujarat Titans teammate Wriddhiman Saha hit 8 sixes in the 2014 IPL final. Apart from this, Chris Gayle also hit 8 sixes in the 2016 IPL final. While Gill’s innings of 129 runs is the second highest innings played by Indians in IPL.
