RCB found a replacement for de Villiers! The marquee batsman joined the team ahead of IPL 2023

Bangla Hunt News Desk: Just 13 days left for IPL (IPL 2023) to start. After three years, the tournament is going to be organized again completely normally. Each team will once again get a chance to perform in front of their respective fans in packed stadiums. Naturally excited cricketers. But in between, Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) faced a setback.

After AB de Villiers retired from his IPL career, RCB brought in Batter Oil Jacks from England’s Mercure. But he was ruled out of the IPL due to injury. This has been officially announced by the IPL franchise. But RCB fans were worried about who will be included in the team instead.

This time they signed New Zealand’s star all-rounder Michael Bracewell (Michael Bracewell) instead. Apart from aggressive batting, this New Zealand cricketer can also spin bowling if required. Such a star all-rounder in the team hopes that Virat Kohli will be able to take the field with some confidence.

Interestingly, at the beginning of this year, Bracewell has performed well in limited overs cricket after visiting New Zealand in India. The audience in the stadium was impressed by his aggressive batting. Everyone expects the left-handed batsman to maintain his form in the upcoming IPL as well.

Bracewell played 16 T20 matches for the country and scored 113 runs. Besides that, he took 21 wickets with the ball. He will join RCB for a base price of Rs 1 crore. RCB will start their IPL campaign against Mumbai Indians on 2nd April. This will be their first match since 2019 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
