In the final, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat first. He scored 200 runs for 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Abdullah Shafiq hit a half-century. He scored 65 runs in 40 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes. Shaheen Afridi remained not out after playing a stormy inning of 44 runs in just 15 balls. Usama Mir took 3 wickets for 24 runs for Multan. Anwar Ali, Isanullah and Khushdil Shah took one wicket each. Kieron Pollard did not get a wicket.
In response, the team of Multan Sultans collapsed after scoring 199 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Multan needed four runs off the last ball to win. Khushdil was run out trying to tie the match by 3 runs.
