‘East Bengal will win ISL in 2 years’, said Devbratbabu! ‘I will bring the trophy from the airport’, Firhader vowed

Bangla Hunt News Desk: Today was a special day at East Bengal Club. On the occasion of the 22nd death anniversary of the new face of the East Bengal club, Paltu Das, some eminent people have been honored by the club. From that event, East Bengal’s top leader Debabrata Sarkar and Calcutta Mayor Firhad Hakim made significant statements about the future of East Bengal.

The East Bengal skipper who is popularly known as ‘Neetu’ to his fans has today predicted how soon East Bengal will win the trophy. He also said, “Tomorrow we are going to fight a war. We want you all on our side.” Incidentally, the owners of the East Bengal club are going to sit in the board meeting with the investor group Emami tomorrow.

He further said, “We are taking an oath today in front of everyone, we will be the ISL champions within two years.” There was a mixed reaction among East Bengal fans hearing this claim. Some have applauded the Devabrata government. Some people also criticized and ridiculed after hearing this.

Many advocates argue that it is necessary to always be wary of the investee group. The demand can be made politely. In the past, the former officials have repeatedly clashed with the invest group. Mohun Bagan also recently removed it from the front of their team name but it never required their skipper to declare war on Sanjeev Goenka. Many claim that corporate dealing is an art that is not in the blood of East Bengal bosses and is unlikely to happen recently.

Mayor Firhad Hakim was also present to honor the dignitaries in the event of this special day. While speaking he said, “We will not lose hope, we will not lose hope, we are descendants of Surya Sen, we will fight back. We will return from the airport to the club with our champion trophy, not a corporate trophy. Long live East Bengal.”
