Shubhrata Mukherjee: The final of the World Test Championship is going to start from June 7 at The Oval. India and Australia will face each other in the final. Both the teams have already announced their squads for the WTC Finals. Many cricketers in the Indian team are currently busy playing in the IPL. This is India’s second WTC final. They lost to New Zealand in the final for the first time. As a result, they are eager to win the title this year. Australia is not the place to talk except in the final. His coach, Andrew McDonald, has already started tying the knot. Michael Neisser has made it clear that Auzi is in the team’s plans for the WTC final and subsequent Test series.
McDonald was pleased with the batting performance of all-rounder Michael Neiser. That’s why Andrew Macdonald feels that Michael Nissar can play for the Australian team in the WTC final and Test series. Nisar has played very well for England’s county team Glamorgan. He scored three consecutive big scores of 123, 86 and 90. Nisar was not included in the 17-man Australian squad initially announced for the World Cup and the first two Tests. He is later included in the Auggie squad due to his performance. The WTC Finals will be held at The Oval from June 7-11. After this, the first Test of Aces will start from 16 June.
In such a situation, Andrew McDonald said, ‘We know very well how well Nisar can perform. Michael (Nissar) and Sean (Abbott) will both be joining us in London. Will support us in the preparations for the final of the Twenty20 World Test Championship. When we announced the 17-man squad, we did so with a few clear considerations in mind. I remember our chairman of selectors, George Bailey, said that we have certain checkpoints based on which we can select cricketers in the team. If Jos (Hazlewood) gets into trouble, we have Neeser and Abbott who can play. I think it is a bonus for us that both of them are now playing cricket in England.
